The 2026 Florida Future Chef competition is officially open! Young culinary creators ages 8 to 12 can showcase their skills by reinventing a healthy school meal using fresh, local ingredients. To enter, simply submit a short video of your cooking process by July 13. Three lucky finalists will travel to an exclusive live cook-off in Tampa to compete for a $5,000 Florida 529 Savings Plan scholarship and the chance to feature their recipe on real school menus statewide.
