Hear from the author of the new book, “The Price of Exclusion: The Pursuit of Healthcare in a Segregated Nation,” Nicole Carr. Carr's new book is described as a narrative steeped in history, ancestry and journalistic inquiry. The book centers on Black doctors, healthcare inequities and the critical role of Black 

medical schools.

Carr will be on hand to discuss the book and it's importance. She'll also sign copies of your book. Books will be available for purchase on site through Black English Book Store.

The event is hosted by the Tampa Bay Association of Black Journalists.
